Veterans Back 40 Adventure exists to provide a supportive and healthy outlet for Veterans seeking to reconnect with the camaraderie found in military service.  This is done through outdoor activities, primarily through off-road and adventure style motorcycle riding.  We are a program with an edge, led by an all volunteer board of military Veterans, our organization seeks to combat the epidemic of Veteran and Active Duty suicide through the power of “Dirt and Campfire Therapy.” Veterans Back 40 Adventure (VB40) sent 6 Veterans impacted by the horrors of suicide from Portland, OR to the Arctic Ocean. Along the way, working together to defeat the elements, overcome mechanical setbacks, and face their experiences, they shared their stories with Emmy-winning video producers Grace Schuessler and Alex Chacon.
