Our hockey community recently lost one of its own, Cristina Cooper, a beloved hockey mom and member of the Salem Swampscott Youth Hockey family. Cristina was the epitome of a hockey mom and an important part of our hockey community. She was the mom of Landon Cooper, 9, a Squirt player, and twins Natalie and Myles, 5, who are part of our Learn to Skate program. Her loss has deeply affected her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. During difficult times like this, our hockey family has an opportunity to come together and support one of our own. SSYH would like to organize a fundraiser to support the Cooper family. &nbsp;We are asking SSYH families who are able to make a donation through our Zeffy fundraising account, with all donations collected going directly to support the Cooper family. There is absolutely no obligation to donate, and any amount is appreciated. Whether you are able to contribute financially or simply keep the Cooper family in your thoughts, every gesture of support means something. As a hockey family, we have the opportunity to surround Landon, Natalie, Myles, and their family with the love and support of the entire SSYH community. We hope we can come together to show them that they are not alone. Thank you for helping us support one of our own during this incredibly difficult time.
