A couple of days ago, we received an urgent appeal from Dr. Mustafa Barghouti, Director of <a href="https://pmrs.ps/" rel="noopener" style="text-decoration-color:initial;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit" target="_blank">Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS)</a>, concerning the deteriorating health situation in Gaza and asking for our financial support in order to help meet the increasing demand for medical services.  We’d like to send PMRS $50,000 by the end of this year. We are also pleased to report that the medical professional members and friends of PAS, working in conjunction with <a href="https://mananutrition.org/" rel="noopener" style="text-decoration-color:initial;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit" target="_blank">Mana</a> and <a href="https://medglobal.org/" rel="noopener" style="text-decoration-color:initial;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit" target="_blank">MedGlobal,</a> have secured a 40-foot shipping container with $100,000 worth of food and nutrition and medical supplies for Gaza. However, they need to raise an additional $12,000 to cover the cost of freight from North America to Gaza. We are confident that with your help, once again, we can reach this combined goal of $62,000 by the end of this year. Short of ending the war, one of the best gifts we can give to the people of Gaza is helping PMRS deliver desperately needed medical care and providing food and nutrition.
