Pirkle was a valuable member of the Lubbock Police Department for 25 years where he worked diligently with his fellow officers. He was a sniper team leader for the LPD SWAT team, a supervisor at the regional Texas Anti-Gang Center, a renowned instructor and a regional director for the Texas Tactical Police Officers Association. In honor of Sgt. Pirkle's belief in training and improving your abilities, 100% of funds donated to Sgt. Pirkle's Memorial Fund will be used to pay for regional officers to attend trainings.
