The Zany Progressive website was started as a means of providing users with progressive news, videos, podcasts, and other content in one central location. A community was created after the owner had the dream to create a progressive community where we could all gather in one place, make new friends, and create user groups to organize and promote protests or other events. One of the only weaknesses of progressives is a lack of unity and organization.  If every progressive in the country had a place to go where we could then use the strength of unity to push for positive change in the U.S., we would be unstoppable! Fostering hope, peace, and kindness along our way. One of our slogans is: “Breaking barriers while building bridges.” The “zany progressive” that the website is named after is a single mother on disability. She has taken her passion for politics, the environment, and human rights to fuel her motivation in creating and maintaining the site. Started back in January 2023, the site is just starting to get traffic. In the meantime, she has put thousands of disability check money into hosting, services, membership systems, and more to build the site. Now it’s getting more and more difficult to keep up. Especially when there is no money coming in to put back into the project.  That is why we are now accepting donations—to continue paying for the site and keeping hope alive. Donations are GREATLY appreciated, but you can also become an Activist level member for just $2/month, become a free member and invite others to join, or share the site on social media so more progressives are aware of it’s existence! We are grateful for any help. That includes submitting content !
