Dear Friends and Supporters,
Nepal is facing a devastating crisis. The recent monsoon-triggered floods, landslides, and inundations have caused unprecedented destruction across the country. According to the Nepal Police Headquarters, the death toll has tragically risen to 224, with fatalities reported from 22 districts, including the Capital Valley’s Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur.
The hardest-hit districts are Kavre, Lalitpur, and Dhading. Other affected areas include Kathmandu, Sindhupalchok, Makwanpur, Panchthar, Bhaktapur, Solukhumbu, Sindhuli, and several others with fewer casualties. Additionally, 27 individuals are still missing, and 156 have been injured. Rescue operations have successfully evacuated 12,584 people from the affected areas, thanks to the efforts of the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and local authorities.
In this time of immense need, Help Nepal Network is launching a fundraiser to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for the affected communities. Your generous contributions will help provide essential relief items such as food, clean drinking water, medical supplies, and temporary shelters to those who have lost everything.
We appeal to your compassion and generosity to help us reach our goal. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by this disaster. Together, we can bring hope and support to the resilient people of Nepal as they rebuild their lives.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
