About Serge Internships in Southern SpainThe Serge Team in Southern Spain, through a church plant, Bible studies, outreach, activities for kids and teens, and opportunities to learn English, is seeing a Christ-focused community taking root in an area where the younger generation has been left with a deep cynicism toward the church and religion. Joining them, I will be mentored and discipled by the long-term missionaries on the team, learn what it looks like to do ministry in this context, and support the life of the local church by helping lead English camps, among other things!&nbsp; As an intern this summer, I will spend 8 weeks doing hands-on overseas missions work and growing in the gospel. I&rsquo;ll get &nbsp;to experience Christ-centered, grace-based, personal mentoring and learn how to build intentional relationships, while sharing the gospel in a cross-cultural context. How you can join me! Many of us in the U.S. are blessed to come from home churches with plentiful resources. However, due to decades of economic strain and a cultural attitude of indifference or suspicion, our fellow Spanish churches often lack the resources to employ full-time workers and host outreach ministries on their own. Thus, our ability to arrive fully funded and help host free English camps and outreach programs is a huge support to the local church. Each Southern Spain Serge intern is attempting to raise $6,476.95 to cover the costs of the internship for 8 weeks including our travel costs and our living and ministry expenses. I could not do this without the support and generosity of others, and I&rsquo;m asking that you might pray this week and consider if you would partner with me financially. --Emily Jane (EJ) C.
