While larger cities may receive attention, smaller coastal towns are often overlooked by government and NGO programs, despite clear and ongoing clean water needs. 💙 What We&rsquo;ve Accomplished W.A.T.A. recently returned to the coastal community of La Perla, where we successfully installed 72 household water filters, providing clean drinking water access to every family in the community. By pairing a Water Filter Day with a local youth surf competition, families gathered in one place to receive hands-on training, filter setup, and long-term support. This approach helped strengthen trust, community participation, and local ownership. 🌊 What&rsquo;s Next: Expanding the Coastal Model With La Perla fully served, W.A.T.A. is now focused on expanding this surf-led clean water model to additional coastal communities throughout El Salvador.
