October 3rd 1-3 PM Plum Street Mall, between Jasper and Front Streets In 2016, Media Arts Council worked with artist <a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.joemooneysculpture.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Joseph Mooney</a> to install the stainless steel sculpture&nbsp;Endeavour on Plum Street Mall. &nbsp;Since then, MAC has remained committed to making public art a part of Media&#39;s public spaces. &nbsp; Please join us on October 3rd, 2026, at 1pm for a rededication ceremony celebrating&nbsp;Endeavour and the impact of its sculptor, Joseph Mooney, who passed away in 2024. &nbsp; We will honor Joe&#39;s work, celebrate MAC&#39;s ongoing commitment to public art, and hear remarks from the Mooney family. &nbsp; We are seeking donations from local champions of public art to help MAC fulfill our remaining financial commitment for this beautiful piece and support its ongoing care and maintenance. &nbsp;Donors of $1000 or more will have their names included on the new rededication plaque.
