Laurel Arts, is dedicated to providing our community members with many opportunities to see the arts in themselves and all around them. We promote our mission - Arts for Everyone - by providing classes, activities, and community-support initiatives for everyone in Somerset County. We are known for traditional connections to the arts through our dance program, gallery openings, and summer &quot;Music on the Lawn&quot; concerts.&nbsp; Laurel Arts is also home to the National Museum of the Guild of American Papercutters. We continually promote artists and crafters at every stage of their journeys through our classes, camps, seasonal Makers Markets, and our year-long schedule of gallery exhibits. We frequently partner with neighboring organizations to provide youth and adult art outreach opportunities. For example, Laurel Arts recently provided comfort and connection through art at the Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Meyersdale for flooding victims and their families. Laurel Arts strives to open pathways for many people to experience the arts in new and fulfilling ways. We are running a short term fundraiser with a goal of raising $5000. We are reaching out to anyone across the Somerset Community who has been positively affected by the work Laurel Arts does. These funds will help strengthen our foundation as we work to provide enriching summer programming and as we undertake critical building projects at both of our centers.&nbsp; Our hope is that if many people can give a little, we will be able to turn around and continue to do a lot as stewards of the Arts in Somerset County.
