At some point between Friday, April 17th at 7:30 pm and Saturday, April 18th at 7:30 am, our ATV/quad vehicle was stolen from inside the locked container located at Cedarcrest Middle School. This ATV was the only true maintenance vehicle that we possessed capable of dragging our baseball and softball fields to keep them in playable condition. This type of setback occurring mid-season has a serious impact on our operations.&nbsp; At this time, we are asking for your help in raising funds to purchase another vehicle that will allow us to continue to provide maintenance at Cedarcrest, Asbery, and MPHS. Our hope is to purchase another ATV in used but good condition that can serve the League for years to come. The title of any such vehicle would be placed into the name of Marysville Little League as a nonprofit 501(c)3 in Washington State. Our estimated need is somewhere between $5,000 - $7,000. This would cover the purchase of the vehicle itself along with any licensing, registration fees and taxes associated. We are also hoping to prepay for an insurance policy for the coming calendar year. In addition, we will need to figure out another location to store the vehicle which will be secured and more visible to deter any potential theft. In the event that we raise more than the cost of the vehicle we eventually select, any additional donations would be directed toward the various maintenance needs that arise throughout the season which includes everything from chalk to hand tools/rakes to new bases and beyond. It may also be used to offset the cost of field rentals at Cedar Field as we are now moving games around to accommodate the field conditions in the interim.&nbsp; This is a financial setback that goes beyond our standard sponsorships and fundraising, which are ongoing for the remainder of the 2026 season as they are used each year to fund the league and keep our costs as reasonable as possible.
