At our recent Yard Sale fundraiser I met many different women who told me they had come out of an abusive relationship. Each one thanked me for starting Hope House and emphasized how much a home like this is needed. One women told me in more detail how much she suffered. She said, "If I had a place to go like this, my life would have been so different!"

Our acquisition a 13,000 sq. ft. building is underway. We are currently working with our contractor on design and budget.  Once reconstructed this building will be able to house up to 10 families (women and their children), giving them a safe place to heal after the ravages of intimate partner abuse. A significant part of the healing process is to expose them to the truths of God's word; that they might know that God hates oppression and that He loves and cherishes them.
