Even today in 2024 life on a Native American Reservation can be very difficult at best. Lower Brulé Rez in South Dakota is no different. The nearest true grocery store or Walmart is a 50 mile drive one way. If you don’t have a car or money that trip is even more difficult. They don’t have the luxury of running out of something and jumping in the car to get every day needs such as personal hygiene items, diapers, cleaning and laundry items, food.  In many cases there are elders, grandparents who have taken in grandchildren and need help with all these items as well.Your donation will enable us to purchase all these items and have on have for those in need. Long term we would like to have a small building built or brought in to create a clean and safe environment to store clothing, emergency kits for women and children or families to be able to get their needs.Thank you for your support.
