This donation will help a lot to achieve our mission. We'll be able to: Provide relief during this National Epidemic of loneliness, anxiety, and depression by offering social and recreational activities to Community Members. Particularly the isolated, invisible, and insignificant. Through this initiative we will help supplement any needs for the Members such as domestic and recreational activities. LNCSC will donate up to 4 hours of support to each Member, each week as needed. Those 4 hours can be used for transportation to scheduled appointments, grocery store runs, laundry assistance, lunch, etc. or just to sit and talk.  Studies show that socialization helps:1) Deter anxiety and depression2) Decrease diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and strokes3) Reduce the risk of premature death However, we can't do it alone. Love-N-Care Social Connections was established May 2023, by Founder Latrice Grimes while working in the Community and seeing the loneliness and isolation escalate on a daily basis. Given the significant health consequences, we as a Community must prioritize building social connections. Together we can build a Country that's healthier, more resilient, less lonely, and more connected.
