The Barracuda Fun Run is important to our school as it has helped the PTO fund many projects for Thornebrooke over the years including some of our bigger projects like providing funds to our new music program, refreshing our 20 year old media center with new tables, chairs and soft seating, and an inclusive playground for students, just to name a few. This year our larger fundraising focus is for a sunshade structure for the new playground that was installed at the end of last school year.  In addition to our students helping to fundraise for these causes, we also seek out business sponsorships to help us provide fun run shirts to each student to wear the day of the event and to offset our costs associated with putting on such an event.
