After the tireless work of our 27 students from Huntington North High School, Emmanuel Christian School, Bishop Luers, Bluffton Harrison, Crestview Middle School, Riverview Middle School, and home school students and their volunteer adult mentors (a total of 4,800+ hours since January 6), these are just a few of the accomplishments of our 2024 robot, Thunderstruck: <ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">State Championship Winning Alliance Captain</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">3X Winner of the Autonomous Award sponsored by Ford, which "celebrates the team that has demonstrated consistent, reliable, high-performance robot operation during autonomously managed actions."</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Ranked 1, 5, 3, and 7 at respective district events</li></ul>And we hope to add to that at the World Championships! At the Championships, the students will be able to interact with and compete not only with students from across the United States but because this is an international competition they will be working with and competing with international students as well.  Only the top 600 teams in the World are selected to compete at this elite level of play.  Huntington is proud to be one of those chosen teams.   Because this is a 4-H team, we must raise the funds to send the students and their adult volunteers (mentors) to this competition.  The short timeframe to prepare for the World Championship means we need your help funding this once in a lifetime opportunity for our students. Please consider donating to help offset travel and registration costs.
