He draws from his eclectic musical upbringing as a classical percussionist, jazz singer/drummer, folk enthusiast and musical theater aficionado. He is currently Teaching-Artist-in- Residence with the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music.  Amanda Kohl, award winning voice teacher and versatile singer in opera, oratorio, and choral ensembles, embraces new music passionately. With numerous premieres to her credit, she’s featured on three albums under the PARMA label, showcasing solo works for voice and various ensembles.  Canadian pianist Florence Mak quickly realized that she would not be able to fulfill her dream as an All-Star hockey player in the NHL, given that she has never put on a pair of hockey skates. Instead, she focused on piano and found her place making music with others. She is an avid punster and a certified Rick-Roll enthusiast.
