The Community Enhancement Committee (CEC) of the Winnett ACES (Agricultural Community Enhancement and Sustainability) is working to redevelop the historic Odd Fellows Hall, now called the 55 Main Building, into a modern multi-use building. Plans include a public convenience facility with restrooms/showers/laundry for travelers, hunters, and locals alike, a first floor visitor center along with a business incubator, and a second floor, three-bedroom apartment.
This project has given the community hope that nothing is too far gone or too forgotten to experience new life and be part of the future. It has also given the community confidence that they can set audacious goals and together engage their neighbors, friends, and families to realize the future they most want for their hometown.
Contributions will go toward the many costs that come with renovating a building of this scale.
