The Day the Curtains Came Down film will raise awareness for the need of culturally competent care and help increase the quality of life for aging Queer Folx as well as straight people. It will raise awareness for the vital need for LGBTQ+ equality by showing people who we are. It will keep alive the names of two of our founding mothers, Del Martin and Phyllis Lyon, who the youth have already largely forgotten! Our goal is film festivals and a mainstream streaming platform!
