LETS FILL THE HAY LOFT At House of Wiggle Goats, we know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all our farm friends.House of Wiggle Goats is a 501(C)3 nonprofit farm animal Rescue & Sanctuary located in Worcester township, Montgomery county Pennsylvania. We currently provide sanctuary for over 100 animals in need. We have a rescue contract with Philadelphia Animal Care & Control, Montgomery County SPCA, Pennsylvania SPCA, and network with other rescues around the US and Canada. We have more than just goats! While goats are our main focus, plenty of other farm animals have found us as well. We have Goats, Sheep, Pigs, Cows, Chickens, Turkey, Guinea Foul, Geese, Ducks, Emu, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, & Turtles. Normally we have the barn filled up and we are just starting to feed our winter hay. But the drought we faced here in PA impacted us in a major way this year. Our pastures dried up and were eaten down to far. The creek that flows though the pasture stopped running! We have never seen this happen before. We had to start feeding our winter hay in September to offset the drought. So we have already emptied 1 side of our barn, depleting our hay reserve by half and it is only December. We feed 8 bales of hay a day. Did you know the Goats & sheep aren't the only ones eating hay? The pigs, geese, guinea pigs & rabbits eat it as well. So now that the pastures are depleted and resting for winter we depend on hay & grain to feed the animals through out the winter and into the spring months. We need YOUR help to refill the barn. We have located hay, and have even secured a discount for the rescue. However running a rescue is a constant battle of give & take. Now that its cooler a lot of our events have ended or become weather limited. So our income now depends on donations & adoptions.
