🌟Join Us in Freeing Minnesotans! 🌟Statutory minimum bail in Minnesota is $78 and every day, people are held in jail over $78 they can't afford. The People's Bail Fund of Minnesota (PBFMN) is dedicated to paying pre-trial bail for individuals who cannot afford it. Through our revolving fund, we support those whose communities are unable to cover their release costs. The inability to pay bail leads to higher conviction rates, longer sentences, loss of housing and jobs, family separations, and even lost custody of children. By covering bail, PBFMN restores the presumption of innocence before trial, allowing individuals to remain free while they fight their cases. How Much Should I Donate?We suggest donating an amount that you wouldn't think twice about paying to free your own friend or family member.
