We are the Loxahatchee Chapter of the Florida Trail Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit responsible for developing, maintaining, protecting, &amp; promoting a network of hiking trails throughout the state, including the unique Florida National Scenic Trail, commonly known as the &ldquo;Florida Trail,&rdquo; along with our primary agency partner, the U.S. Forest Service. Our chapter is responsible for the trail section known as the Ocean to Lake Hiking Trail and various portions of connected trails on the properties that the trail goes through. All donations go directly towards the building, maintaining, and improving of the trail as well as the equipment required.
