Art Doesn't Happen By Accident — It Happens When a Community Decides It Matters. Great art doesn’t appear by accident. It happens when artists, audiences, and communities decide that storytelling matters enough to build something together. Fuel the Factory is Pickle Factory Productions’ campaign to power the next chapter of theatre in Southwest Washington. After the success of our workshop production of Weapon in Waiting, one thing became clear: our community is hungry for bold, exciting, locally produced theatre. That workshop was only the beginning. Now we are ready to move forward — fully and unapologetically — into producing work in and for Southwest Washington. Pickle Factory Productions was created by artists who grew up here, trained across the country and around the world, and built careers producing professional theatre at the highest levels. Now we are bringing that experience home. Our goal is simple: Create world-class theatrical events right here in Southwest Washington. When you support Fuel the Factory, you are helping us turn that goal into reality.Your support helps power the essential elements of live theatre:

paying artists and musicians

rehearsal and performance space

costumes, sets, and design

new play development

community performances and events

Live theatre is one of the most collaborative art forms in existence. It takes dozens of people working together — actors, musicians, designers, technicians, stage managers, directors, and audiences — to bring a story to life.Fuel the Factory ensures that those stories can be told here, by the artists who call this place home. Pickle Factory Productions believes that Southwest Washington deserves ambitious, imaginative, and deeply human storytelling. Stories that reflect our community. Stories that invite audiences to laugh, reflect, and experience something unforgettable together. But none of that happens alone. It happens when a community decides it matters. When you contribute to Fuel the Factory, you are not simply making a donation — you are investing in the artists, stories, and cultural life of this region. You are helping build a creative home where theatre can thrive. Join us.Help Fuel the Factory.
