Our Story Jeshua &mdash; known in the ring as &ldquo;The Mongoose&rdquo;&nbsp;&mdash; is a 16-year-old elite boxer from Long Beach, California, and a proud 11th-grade student at Wilson High School. He is not just a talented athlete &mdash; he is a disciplined, humble, and focused young man with a work ethic far beyond his years. Jeshua has been boxing since he was 3 years old, and by age 6, he fully committed to the sport. Today, he has 21 official fights, including a championship win at the Sapphire Tournament, and consistently competes against the strongest opponents available &mdash; often sought out by top competition because of his skill level. But what truly makes Jeshua&rsquo;s story special is the bond between father and son. Coach Jessie is a single father with full custody, raising his son while also serving as his coach, mentor, and biggest supporter. Together, they have built their lives around discipline, consistency, and belief. Boxing became the foundation of their relationship &mdash; training together every single day, pushing each other, and building a future through hard work. For the past three years, Jeshua has woken up at 3:30 a.m. every morning to run. After training, he comes home, rests briefly, then gets ready for school. He maintains strong academic performance, comes home after classes to recharge, and then heads to the gym again for his daily training routine.
