The Body Shop HTX Foundation is committed to empowering youth and strengthening families in Houston&rsquo;s Third Ward through fitness, education, mentorship, and community engagement. Our primary mission is to provide a free, safe, and structured after-school program for children ages 7&ndash;12, giving young people access to opportunities that every child deserves&mdash;regardless of their family&rsquo;s financial circumstances. Our program combines sports and physical fitness, tutoring and homework assistance, mentorship, and positive role models to help children develop academically, physically, socially, and emotionally. We believe fitness can be more than exercise. &nbsp;It can be a vehicle for teaching discipline, confidence, teamwork, perseverance, and healthy habits that last a lifetime. By combining athletics with academic support, we are creating an environment where children can strengthen both their bodies and their minds. What makes The Body Shop HTX Foundation special is that we are rooted in the community we serve. Our goal is not simply to provide a program, but to create a community where children feel supported, families feel connected, and young people are surrounded by adults who believe in their potential.
