Help us take the first step toward a forever home. Every child deserves a place to play, discover, and belong. For generations of Galveston families, the Galveston Children's Museum has been a place where curiosity grows, imaginations come alive, and learning happens through play. But our future is not guaranteed. Thanks to the determination of our team, volunteers, and community supporters, we've reopened our doors at Moody Gardens. It's an exciting new chapter, but our home is temporary.Over the next two years, we must take meaningful steps toward securing a permanent home for the Galveston Children's Museum. Without sustained community support and a viable path forward, we risk losing the Museum altogether. Our first goal is to raise $750,000 to help us pursue a permanent home. This is the beginning of a much larger effort. Purchasing and renovating a permanent facility is currently estimated to require $25 million. Reaching our initial fundraising goal will help us build the foundation for that future, but we cannot do it alone. That's where you come in. By becoming a Friend of Play, you're helping us:

Keep the wonder alive by supporting hands-on learning, creative exploration, and meaningful childhood experiences.

Make play accessible through inclusive programs, community outreach, and opportunities for children of all abilities.

Build toward a permanent home where generations of Galveston children can continue to learn, imagine, and grow.

Whether you give $10, $50, $100, or become a monthly supporter, your generosity makes a difference. We've found a place to grow. Now we need your help securing a place to stay. Become a Friend of Play and help write the next chapter of the Galveston Children's Museum. Because childhood doesn't wait, and neither can we.
