Kids can't be what they don't see. In most classrooms, students can go years without meeting a single scientist — let alone a Black scientist, engineer, or astronaut. My STEM Ed fixes that with live virtual visits: real STEM professionals join real classrooms for real conversations, alongside books and posters that keep those faces on the wall all year. Now My STEM Ed is a program of Communications in STEM, our Oakland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit. That means your gift is tax-deductible — and it means schools that can't pay don't have to. You sponsor. Schools get it free. Students meet their heroes. This campaign funds Black History Month programming for schools that book by January 15, 2027 — live chats, readings, and classroom materials, delivered virtually anywhere. Every sponsor is recognized by name on our Sponsor Wall. Every donor gets an automatic tax receipt. And in February, every sponsor receives a short impact report showing exactly what their gift did — because you should see the faces you put in front of those kids. Communications in STEM Corp · EIN 83-2063288 · Oakland, California
