On the morning of Eid, families gather.Children wake up early, waiting. Pots begin to warm. There is laughter, movement, anticipation. But in villages across Gambia, many homes remain quiet. No meat is prepared. No celebration is set. No feast is waiting. For some families, Eid passes like any other day, with empty plates, dim homes, and children who have learned not to expect too much. Eid al-Adha is a day of sacrifice. But for them, sacrifice is not symbolic. It is daily life. This Eid, Al Rahma Organization for Humanity is focused on something real:Turning your sacrifice into relief, dignity, and lasting change. Your donation is not distant charity. It becomes food in their hands, water in their village, and stability where there was none. 🐐 Eid Qurbani: Let Them Taste Eid — $50 feeds 15 people! For many families, this may be the only time all year they eat meat.Your Qurbani allows them to:

Share a real Eid meal

Feed their children with dignity

Feel included in a day meant for everyone

This is not just a ritual. It is the moment a child smiles because, this time, there is something on the plate. 🥘 Food Support Beyond Eid — $5,000 feeds 200 familiesEid ends. The struggle does not. Many families return to the same uncertainty the very next day.Your support helps:

Keep food in homes after Eid passes

Support families already living on the edge

Turn a temporary moment into sustained relief

Because real care does not disappear after one day. 💧 Build What a Village Needs to Survive — $5,000Imagine walking for water that isn’t clean.Imagine nights without light, where homes fall into complete darkness. This is everyday reality for many.Your donation helps build:

Clean water wells

Rainwater storage for dry seasons

Solar-powered light for homes and masjids

This is not short-term help. This is what allows a village to live with safety, stability, and dignity. 📖 Give Children More Than a Day — $5,000 for a classroomWhile Eid brings joy for some, many children are still facing a future without access to learning.Your support provides:

Qurans and educational materials

Safe, supported learning environments

Basic needs so children can focus, not struggle

Because the greatest gift is not just feeding a child today —it is giving them a path forward. 🌙 One Eid. One Chance to Change Everything. Our goal this Eid is $5,000, covering:

Qurbani and food distribution

Water and solar infrastructure

Education for children

Every dollar goes directly to families and villages in the Central River Region of Gambia. 🤲 Give a Sacrifice That Lives OnWhen you give this Eid, you are not just giving money. You are:

Placing food on a plate that would otherwise be empty

Bringing light into homes that sit in darkness

Giving children a chance at something better

This is what sacrifice looks like. Allah says in the Quran:"The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills." (2:261) 👉 Give this Eid. Be the reason someone smiles on a day they almost didn’t.
