When a Tiny Heartbeat Needs a Chance ❤️ For a family in the NICU, the world can change in an instant. A tiny breath, a steady heartbeat, or one more hour of strength can feel like a miracle. But for too many newborns, lifesaving care is out of reach because their families face financial hardship or limited medical resources. At Heal the Hearts Foundation, we believe every baby deserves a chance to survive and thrive—and no newborn should be denied critical care because help is unavailable or unaffordable. Our mission was shaped by personal experiences with pregnancy loss, premature birth, and the emotional challenges of having a baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We understand the fear, uncertainty, and strength families experience when their tiniest loved ones are fighting to survive. Today, we transform those experiences into a mission of hope, healing, and compassion. The need is urgent. Every day, vulnerable newborns and their families face medical, financial, and emotional challenges that cannot wait. Following our successful launch and first hospital outreach at Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital in Mampong, Ghana, we are preparing for our next outreach to reach more babies and families in need.
