Global Leadership Experience is a 12 week youth leadership residency for Black and Brown youth on Chicago South and West Sides. Scholars spend six weeks preparing, one week immersed in Colombia learning how communities solved their hardest problems, then five weeks back home turning what they witnessed into a project for their own community. What makes GLE different: scholars hold real decision making power and direct budget authority over their projects. They do not just learn leadership, they practice it. By donating today, you support the leadership programming, scholarships, travel, and the youth led community projects our scholars design. Every gift is tax deductible through our fiscal sponsor, (Un)Learning Space NFP, and is designated to GLE. **Sponsor a Student Architect: $6,000 Covers one student architect's full 12 week residency, from Chicago leadership learning to a week in Colombia and a community project back home, including travel, lodging, meals, instruction, and materials.
