The Grafton Lions Club Foundation is developing a community garden as a way to address food scarcity by creating access to fresh vegetables for residences who may otherwise lack gardening space in their person residences. &nbsp;We also see this as a means to directly address health factors such as diabetes and obesity by promotion of healthy diet. &nbsp; The Garden will be located at 2596 Cheyenne Avenue, adjacent to the Grafton Little League Baseball Fields with plans to have 30 gardens with the possibility of expanding beyond that if there is demand. To make this vision a reality we are raising money to cover the startup costs for this project. &nbsp;These initial costs include fencing of the area, purchasing and set up of a storage shed and tools, and purchase of raised bed enclosures and soil.
