Hello! We're Cultivation Culture LLC, a family farm in Tazewell County, Virginia. Our Mission: • Plant an Orchard: We're planting apple and peach trees, along with other fruits, to provide fresh produce.• Start Beekeeping: We're setting up beehives to support bees and produce natural honey.• Raise Chickens: We're raising egg-laying hens to supply free-range, organic eggs to local schools.• Restore Our Heritage: We're caring for our historic family graveyard, honoring ancestors who started farming here over 250 years ago.• Promote Sustainable Farming: We're teaching eco-friendly agriculture practices to create a better future. Problems We're Solving: • Cultivate Connections Through Agri-tourism:  Come experience the heart of our farm at Exit 1 Fairground Road, nestled between Crab Orchard and Fairgrounds in Tazewell, Virginia. We're passionate about sharing our heritage of sustainable farming and creating memorable experiences for our visitors.  From peaceful fishing in our pond to hands-on interactions with our animals (petting and feeding encouraged!), there's something for everyone. We're excited to collaborate with local partners and spread the word about our unique agri-tourism offerings, inviting you to discover the magic of farm life.• Food Insecurity: By providing fresh eggs and produce to schools, we're helping children get the healthy food they need.• Environmental Challenges: Our sustainable farming reduces waste and improves soil health.• Lack of Green Spaces: We're turning empty lots into gardens and safe places for everyone to enjoy. How You Can Help: We have big plans, but we need your support to make them happen! Your donation will help us: • Purchase animal feed and building materials.• Buy beehives and equipment for beekeeping.• Acquire chickens for egg production.• Plant fruit trees for our orchard.
