White text announcing a "Trick or Treat Trail" and funding details sits atop a solid reddish-brown background.

Halloween night, Helmers Street closes to through traffic from Eleanor to Gale, along with Woodard, Fairbanks, Milwaukee and Graceland between Fulton and Irvington, 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Kids get a car-free stretch of street to trick-or-treat. Security holds the intersections so cross traffic keeps moving and Helmers residents can still get home. EMS is on site all night. The Trail is run by Friends of Lindale Park, a Houston 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 42-4776276. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and a receipt arrives by email.
