The Hardrock Veterans Association is establishing&nbsp; The&nbsp;Active Duty Emergency Assistance Fund&nbsp;to provide financial support to Hardrock members who are currently serving on active duty when unexpected emergencies arise. &nbsp; &nbsp; Military families can face sudden hardships such as emergency travel, family crises, natural disasters, unexpected financial burdens, or other unforeseen situations. When those moments happen, we want our active-duty Hardrock brothers and sisters to know they are not alone.To ensure this program is sustainable, we are working to build the fund before officially activating it. Once fully funded, a designated point of contact for the service member will be able to reach out to Hardrock Veterans to request assistance during qualifying emergencies. Our initial goal is to establish a minimum balance of $3,000, creating a reliable emergency reserve that can respond when one of our active-duty members needs help.
