Your gift helps heal Ridglan beagles 🐶❤️&zwj;🩹 On May 4, 2026, twelve beagles from research labs and arriving at Northwoods Animal Shelter scared, sore, and unsure. Six will stay with us for rehabilitation and six will go to another Upper Peninsula shelter for continued care.&nbsp; Before being available for adoption, the Ridglan beagles will need time to rest, recover, and heal. They&rsquo;ve been through a lot, and this next phase is all about giving them the care and stability they deserve. Each dog will be seen by veterinarians, spayed or neutered, and gently introduced to the world around them at their own pace. Many are just beginning to experience things like companionship, play, and even feeling grass between their paws.&nbsp; We know there&rsquo;s a lot of excitement and love waiting for them, but right now, their well-being comes first.
