Snickers is a community cat who received urgent vet care.🐾 but his caretaker was unprepared for such a large expense. Your gift goes directly toward his exam, treatment, amputation and meds. Snickers&nbsp;is one of 21 community cats SMCC sterilized from the Creek Colony. &nbsp;Recall that a neighbor reached out to us when the previous caretaker passed away and left both indoor and outdoor cats to fend for themselves. &nbsp;This caretaker requested help with the cost of altering the cats, and the community of Carlisle came through, helping us pay for all cats on property to be sterilized by September 2025. Prior to becoming the Creek Colony&#39;s caretaker, she already had dogs who did not get along with the cats, so she&#39;s been managing both the dogs AND the colony. &nbsp;This time, Snickers&nbsp;was caught in the melee and suffered a broken leg that required an amputation.
