A complex medical dialysis machine with tubes and monitors stands against a plain white background.

A dialysis machine can give patients with kidney failure access to treatment closer to home. Help IMCK equip its PAX Polyclinic in Kananga, Democratic Republic of the Congo. When kidneys can no longer filter waste and excess fluid from the blood, dialysis may be needed to sustain life. For families seeking care, access to the right equipment and a prepared medical team matters enormously. Durable Solutions is raising funds to support the Institut Médical Chrétien du Kasaï (IMCK) in establishing dialysis capacity at its PAX Polyclinic in Kananga. IMCK has long served communities in the Kasaï region through PAX and its wider health care network. Your gift will help purchase a dialysis machine and support the preparations needed to put it into safe clinical use. The final project budget will account for the machine, transport, installation, water treatment, staff training, and initial supplies as confirmed with IMCK’s medical team. Give today to help bring this essential service within reach of patients and families in Kananga.
