A purple robotic octopus holding a screwdriver stands in the foreground against a dark, gear-filled background with bold yellow text reading "DONATE TO THE OCTOBOTS."

🐙 We are the Octobots, FIRST® Tech Challenge Team 8938 from Indianola, Iowa. Every season our high school students design, build, and program a competition robot from scratch. Along the way they learn engineering, coding, teamwork, and how to solve hard problems under pressure. In just two seasons back, the team qualified for the Iowa State Championship as a rookie and finished 5th in its division at State. 💜 We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, funded 100% by sponsors and families. No school, state, or city money. No student pays to join, and every coach and mentor is an unpaid volunteer, so every dollar goes to the students and their robot: 🏁 Competition fees 🐝 This year's game field (the 2026–27 game is BIOBUZZ) ⚙️ Robot parts and electronics 🔧 Tools and mid-season upgrades The game changes every year, which means a new robot every year. Your gift, in any amount, puts Indianola students on the field. Thank you!
