A Refuge in His Presence: Help us build the Jasper House of PrayerWe are Jason and Arianne Davis and along with our five children, we are grateful to call Jasper, Georgia our home. Over the years, through prayer and daily time with the Lord, God has placed a clear calling on our hearts: to establish a Christ-centered House of Prayer in our community.&nbsp; Scripture reminds us, &ldquo;We are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us.&rdquo; 2 Corinthians 5:20. The Lord longs for His children and He desires a personal relationship with each one of us. Many carry wounds from addiction, grief, religion, leadership, rejection, sexual immorality, manipulation, and unspoken pain, who would rather not step into a church building. The Lord is calling His people back into His arms, and this House of Prayer is one pathway back. This space will allow hearts to be emptied of all the worldliness, materialism, pain, confusion, bondage, and sorrow, so it may be filled back up with His truth, peace, and love. He is calling for a place where people can come as they are to sit in stillness, read Scripture, journal, listen, and simply be with Him. An altar will offer a space to return to the Lord without fear or hesitation. This will not replace the local church but serve as a complementary refuge a place for personal prayer, reflection, and healing for anyone seeking Him. Whether coming alone or gathering to intercede with others, it is a space for believers to unite as the Body of Christ. As we prepare to open The Jasper House of Prayer, we are raising funds to cover rent, utilities, and basic furnishings for the first year of operation.
