A church family in Katkur, India, is working to complete essential renovations so that Sinai Church can continue serving as a place of worship, discipleship, prayer, and practical ministry to its surrounding community. Through the years they have helped conduct pastors’ conferences, youth retreats, women’s gatherings and children’s Bible ministries; supported sewing centers providing practical opportunities for women; distributed food and essential supplies to families in need; and participated in community relief and other compassionate ministries. Today, they have a very practical need before them: Sinai Church needs to complete essential renovation work.The project includes replacement roof sheets, electrical work and lighting, new doors and windows, floor tile around the altar and entrance, masonry repairs, wall plastering, a washroom, a water tank, one storeroom, painting, labor, and related improvements needed to make the church building safe, functional and welcoming. Pastor Stanley has calculated that approximately $6,700 is needed locally to complete the renovation work.
