1441 was established in 2022, after the loss of our favorite person, LCpl Dayton Hornickel.  He took his own life on September 16, 2021, at the age of 22.  1441 is made up of family & friends who do not want suicide to affect another family.  We want military members, veterans and their families to know that they are not alone, 1441 is here for them.  By reaching one person at a time, our mission to end the stigma with mental health and suicide by talking about the good times and the bad, is our number one concern.   Raising the veteran suicide rate of 22 a day is our second concern.  This is 22 too many!Please help us raise awareness and give everyone a safe space to come together, by being one of our most loved and cherished donor.  1441 can not do it without YOU!Love,The 1441 Foundation, Inc
