Grandmothers’ Village Project needs your help getting our beloved “Medicine Pony” back on the road. Medicine Pony is our affectionate name for the 2004 Chevy Trailblazer that helps us get where Grandmothers’ Village Project needs to be. Right now, she needs urgent mechanical repairs and safe new tires before she can reliably carry us through the fall and winter. Our goal is to raise $2,500 to get Medicine Pony healthy, safe, and back on the road. Why is this so important? The work of Grandmothers’ Village Project cannot happen only from behind a computer screen. We need to be present. We need to be at Town meetings and community meetings. We need to attend housing forums, nonprofit gatherings, fundraising and networking events, workshops, conferences, and other opportunities where relationships are built and partnerships begin. We need to sit at the tables where conversations affecting our community are happening. This fall and winter are especially important for GMVP as we seek funding, strengthen community relationships, develop partnerships, and continue advancing our vision for eco-sustainable housing and regenerative projects for marginalized elders. Without reliable transportation, our ability to show up for that work is severely limited.Medicine Pony helps carry the mission of Grandmothers’ Village Project into the community. And right now, we need our community to help carry Medicine Pony. Our emergency fundraising goal is $2,500.Whether you can give $10, $25, $50, $100, or another amount, every contribution brings Medicine Pony closer to getting back on the road and GMVP closer to where we need to be.If you cannot make a financial contribution, please share our appeal. Sharing it with your friends, family, colleagues, and networks can help us reach someone who can. 🐎 Help us heal Medicine Pony.  🏡 Help GMVP show up where we need to be.  ❤️ Help us get back on the road.Goal: $2,500
