I am the heart & muscle behind The Juicy Little Society. What started as a small, personal passion project has grown into a full-fledged movement of love, mentorship, and unwavering support for the youth in our community. This work is personal to me. I know what it feels like to grow up without stability, without a sense of belonging, without the support every young person deserves. I grew up in foster care, on juvenile probation, and as a CSEC Survivor, I know what it’s like to feel unseen, unheard, and misunderstood. But I also know what it means to fight for something better! The Juicy Little Society was born from that fight. It’s my way of being the person I wish I had when I was younger—the mentor, the safe space, the guiding light. Our kids are the reason I pour everything into this work. They are resilient, full of potential, and deserve every opportunity to thrive. Many are in foster care, some are experiencing housing insecurity, and others simply need a safe space where they feel valued. At Juicy Little, we don’t just offer programs—we offer family. We create spaces where our kids can dream beyond their circumstances and feel the power of community lifting them up. We teach them Life Skills and Entrepreneurship so they can build their futures, Self-Love & Emotional Wellness to heal and grow, and more importantly we remind them daily that they are worthy, powerful, and capable of shaping their own destinies, no matter what! For the past 5 years, The Juicy Little Society has been 100% self-funded. We’ve poured our hearts, time, and personal resources into keeping our programs alive—because we refuse to let these kids go without the support they deserve. But losing our Juicy Little Clubhouse was devastating—not just for us, but for every young person who walked through its doors. That space was their refuge. It was where they felt safe, seen, and supported. It was where they found mentorship, laughter, and love. It was their home. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from our kids, it’s resilience. Through partnerships like the Dena Relief Drive, we’ve helped over 5,000 families, distributing essentials to those affected by the fires. Our volunteer-based thrift store, Juicy Little Finds, where 100% of profits fund youth mentoring, has been overwhelmed with an overflow of donations for fire families. We now have two sorting locations in LA and three temporary storage spaces, but the logistical challenges of managing these efforts have forced us to temporarily close the thrift store.
