91.1 FM KDEZ can survive our first year on the air! We did it. What was once rogue radio in Bombay Beach now beams from Palm Springs to Mexico. In May we built our antenna on a mountain above the Salton Sea, and we have been on the air ever since. Now we have bills. Tower rent is $650 a month, plus power, licensing, servers, and whatever the desert breaks next. What we want to do with the year ahead is put you and your neighbors on the air. Some of us can give fifty dollars. Some can give less. Some can give more. If you have the means, help bring radio to those who can&#39;t afford it. Donations go to Voice of the Salton Sea, Inc., the 501(c)(3) nonprofit that holds the license, based in Bombay Beach, California. Thank you! Love, KDEZ
