Here in Florida, keeping the animals cool isn&rsquo;t optional &mdash; it&rsquo;s part of keeping them safe.And electricity is only one piece of what it takes to care for everyone here.Every month, we&rsquo;re also purchasing:🐶 Dog food 🐱 Cat food and litter 🐷 Pig food and routine hoof/nail and tusk care 🐾 Flea and parasite prevention 💊 Medications and basic medical supplies 🧼 Cleaning and sanitation supplies 🏡 Everyday necessities that keep the rescue safe and functioningWe do everything we can to stretch every dollar, but the reality is that caring for rescued animals 365 days a year adds up incredibly quickly.Asking for help is never easy for us.
