Our writers are scientists, professionals, and graduate students who are experienced in the subjects they write about. We simply tell you what the scientists did, how they did it, and the results they got. We make a conscious effort to minimize ideological bias so you can make up your own mind about what you're reading. Our articles are ideal for teachers, students, and lifelong learners. 

We are powered by the motivation and passion of volunteers, and supported by the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Blue Marble Space. We don’t do advertising, sponsored content, or other online monetization strategies because we don’t think advertisers should drive the discussion. We do not and never will rely on advertising revenue. Our content will always be freely available. That means we depend on generous donors like you to help us maintain our website, support our writers, and develop our online courses.
