🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟 Mid America Dhama is a non-profit organization dedicated to making the practice of vipassana or Insight Meditation available to others in the central region of the United States.  We host meditation multiple retreats and dharma classes throughout the year, bringing nationally recognized teachers to the Mid-West for residential events, and additionally offer online programs to persons everywhere.  Mid America Dharma relies totally on the donated effort of our Board of Directors and other volunteers. Registration fees are used only to pay for retreat space, lodging and meals for those attending, insurance and other institutional overhead. We pay for transportation, room and board of our teachers and retreat managers, but our teachers rely exclusively on Dana for their livelihood, voluntary donations freely offered by those attending. Your donations thus go directly towards furthering our mission, to defray our institutional overhead and reduce retreat fees. Donations may also be stipulated to go to our Scholarship Fund, which permits those with limited resources to participate in our events.
