Help Keep the Heart of Dom Polski Cooking!For generations, the kitchen at Dom Polski has been much more than a place where meals are prepared. It is where volunteers make pierogi, where our Friday Dinners come together, and where preparations begin for Polish Festival Seattle, Spring and Fall Bazaars, and countless community celebrations.It is also part of the place where our community gathers for birthdays, weddings, memorials, and other important moments. Preparing and sharing traditional Polish food helps us preserve our heritage, connect generations, and create a little piece of home here in Seattle.Following a recent City of Seattle Environmental Compliance inspection, our kitchen was classified as Non-Compliant in the Grease Interceptor category. While no immediate corrective action was issued, we want to address the issue proactively and on our own timeline rather than wait until a future inspection or sewer issue requires corrective action.We are raising $6,000 to professionally install a commercial grease interceptor for our 3-compartment kitchen sink, complete the necessary plumbing modifications, obtain the required permits and inspections, and cover related project costs.Our goal is simple: to keep the Dom Polski kitchen safe, functional, compliant, and ready for the many community events it supports.Every contribution&mdash;large or small&mdash;brings us closer to that goal.Thank you for helping keep the heart of Dom Polski cooking for many years to come!Polish Home Association is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization.
