🌟 Join us in conserving the wildlife and wild places of the southeastern U.S.! 🌟Orleans Audubon Society's members always donate generously when it comes to helping local wildlife, saving Louisiana's uniquely rich habitats and fostering an appreciation of nature and the environment. We have some really exciting projects going on right now, including the rebuilding and expansion of the Marguerite Moffett Audubon Sanctuary in Terrebonne Parish. The new boardwalk has just been completed, and we are adding a kayak boat launch and other amenities. The big news is that a Bald Eagle has been perching on one of the newly restored nest platforms at the sanctuary! OAS now offers lectures and birding field trips in two locations: New Orleans and Abita Springs. Our membership is growing! OAS's youth scholarship program is really making an impact! Your donations will help us expand the program, allowing us to send more youths to environmental, birding and ornithology camps and workshops. These experiences are inspirational and life-changing. OAS also needs funds to expand its wild bird rescue and transport network. Please help if you can. There are many ways that you can help:

Donate: Every dollar counts! Contribute now to help us reach our goal.

Share: Share our campaign with your friends, family, and on social media. Your advocacy can amplify our impact.

Volunteer: Your time and skills are needed! OAS is looking for volunteer speakers, field trip leaders, wildlife photographers and artists. Maybe you would like to help monitor Bald Eagle or Swallow-tailed Kite nests or transport injured wild birds to licensed rehabilitators. We also need volunteers to conduct shorebird surveys on Grand Isle and to search for rooftop nesting colonies of terns and skimmers. There are many other volunteer opportunities from drafting advocacy letters for important environmental causes to growing native plants and native plant sales to tabling at birding festivals.

Thank you for supporting local wildlife and wild places, your support is invaluable.
