The Trinity Freistadt Historical Society is raising a timber-frame Exhibition Barn on the historic grounds in Mequon, Wisconsin&mdash;a permanent home for a collection that has outgrown the society&rsquo;s thirteen historic buildings. Vintage cameras, handkerchiefs, nearly 100 years of Trinity confirmation photos, a recreated hardware store, wedding finery, farm tools, and family treasures can now be displayed only a little at a time. The planned two-story barn&mdash;roughly 40 by 60 feet and about 4,200 square feet&mdash;will create dedicated exhibit space built in the same craft tradition the site preserves. Final construction plans were completed in July 2025. Pancake breakfasts, chili suppers, raffles, and band nights have already helped grow the building fund. Your donation moves the project from plans to timber frame and helps preserve Freistadt&rsquo;s story for future generations. Every gift brings the Exhibition Barn closer.
